Aside from all the context tags a photo or video automatically inherits from its parent album or group, you can always add additional tags to any single media item in Vidigami. This allows you to add more specific keywords to certain photos without applying them to all other media within the same album (e.g. add additional tags like 'brand' to a photo that has the school logo or crest, in an album of the best campus shots).
There are 2 ways to add more context tags to specific media in Vidigami:
1 - In Lightbox
Open a video or image (Lightbox Mode) and select the More Info option on the top right corner.
Then, select the Edit (pencil icon) to update the information for the media.
Towards the bottom of the section, you will see a Search Tags field and all tags already applied to the media. When you add in a new tag, you will see that it appears in grey. This means that this is a media-specific tag, while all others (marked dark blue) the inherited group and album tags.
2 - Batch-Tag
Administrators and managers can batch-add context tags to more than one file at a time by simply selecting the check box that appears upon hovering over the media within an album.
Once selected, a green batch-function toolbar will appear overhead with the option to Add Metadata. Select this to add an existing tag from Vidigami, or create one on the spot to add to those select images or videos.
In this modal, you also have the ability to assign a common copyright holder and apply a watermark to any selected images.
