In Vidigami, we categorize users under three distinct user types: Student, Staff or Member.
- Students consist of your student body. All current students or alumni who have graduated from your school should be assigned with this user type.
- Staff consist of all the school's employees. These may include faculty members like teachers and coaches, administration staff, board members, and other key members of your organization.
- Members include any other non-staff or non-student individuals associated with your school. This includes Parents and other family members, partners, vendors, professional photographers, event organizers, and other parties associated with your school. Note: as soon as a Member user gets connected to a student, that user becomes a Member Parent or Staff Parent (if they are employees at the school). This is done by establishing relationships in Vidigami.
A User Type is assigned when a user is added to Vidigami, either manually or via one of the Onboarding options.
