If media has been added to a Group Set, Admins and Managers can share content from it externally as a dynamic Slideshow. See Group Sets.
Share Slideshow Outside Vidigami
To share media publicly, within the same Share Set window, the Admin or Manager must select the Share Slideshow Outside Vidigami checkbox, prompting them to accept the End User Agreement.
Note: By agreeing to make the set public, you are stating that you have the authorization to share the content from that set outside Vidigami. Note that sharing sets does by any means grant outsiders access to your school's Vidigami site. It only means that they will be able to see the media from the sets as a slideshow. Additionally, slideshow media cannot be downloaded.
Agreeing to the End User Agreement will generate a new HTML link to Share Slideshow Outside Vidigami. When opened in a browser or clicked from a shared post, all content within the Group Set will be displayed as a secure, dynamic slideshow that is viewable by anyone outside the Vidigami community, while restricting the download of any displayed content.
Note: If the viewer is a registered Vidigami user at your school, they will be able to navigate to the respective album for each media through the 'Go to Album' button on the bottom right corner of the slideshow.
By selecting the Show Embed Code icon adjacent to the social media sharing options within the same Share Set window, Vidigami will generate an additional Embed Slideshow code that can be inserted into any iframe code block. This is used for embedding slideshows to web pages, blog posts, digital signage software, and other platforms.
Updating Group Sets
After sharing your slideshow links to a number of external sources, you will always have the ability to update the content in the source Public Set within Vidigami.
By doing this, you can be assured that the slideshow for that public set will be dynamically updated regardless of where it has been published, and how many times.
You will be able to:
- Add Titles for each media file, which will be displayed on the slideshow by default. See Lightbox.
- Sort Set Media in a custom order
- Modify the embed code (see below)
